The Story
Abyss came from that strange shift that happens offshore when everything gets quiet and you suddenly remember how small you are—in the best possible way.
There’s tension in that feeling: stillness and pressure, beauty and danger, surrender and control. The whale moves through it almost completely unfazed while the water around it feels deep enough to swallow your ego whole.
People romanticize the ocean from a beach chair. The abyss is different. It’s beautiful, unpredictable and completely uninterested in making you comfortable.
