The Story
First Light came from watching sunrise underwater—one of those moments that makes everything above the surface feel slightly overrated.
Before the light arrives, the water is muted and suspended. Then it shifts all at once. Color comes back. Particles catch the light. The whole ocean feels like it just switched back on.
At the center of it is a mother whale and calf rising together. No drama. No performance. Just this huge, quiet rhythm that has been happening long before any of us were around to witness it.
That’s what stayed with me: softness with weight behind it. Protection without noise. The kind of strength that doesn’t need to announce itself.
