The Story
Bubble Rave started with a contradiction I couldn’t leave alone: sea turtles have this almost unfair ability to look completely unbothered while the world around them does whatever it wants.
So I gave this one a little more chaos.
Soft color, shimmer, bubbles and movement build around a turtle that still looks like he has absolutely nowhere urgent to be. That tension between calm and energy is what makes the piece work for me.
It’s playful without becoming cute. Peaceful without behaving itself.
