Inner Light - Canvas
The light was never the background.

The Story
Inner Light started as an experiment and ended up becoming one of those pieces that keeps changing depending on how long you look at it.
At first, the figure holds your attention. Then the glow starts pulling harder. The whole composition seems to turn inward, like the light is coming from somewhere beneath the surface instead of being cast across it.
That shift is what made the piece work for me.
It isn’t really about brightness. It’s about presence—the kind that doesn’t need to announce itself to change the entire room around it.
“Sometimes the part you notice last is the part that was carrying everything.” ~Kristy
