The Story
Dynamic Duo started with the kind of real-life moment that makes a painting feel inevitable.
Off Oʻahu’s west shore, two dolphins moved through the water like they had their own timing system—breaking apart, syncing back up, changing direction without hesitation. Fast, precise, completely unbothered.
That partnership is what stuck with me. Not matching. Not following. Just knowing when to move together.
The surface of this piece carries that same tension: soft movement against stronger marks, calm color with speed underneath.
