The Story
Electric Mood is about the kind of woman who doesn’t need the water—or life—to cooperate before she moves.
The surfer is alone on purpose. Not abandoned. Not waiting to be rescued. She’s exactly where she chose to be, moving straight into the energy instead of backing away from it.
That’s what pulled me into this piece: the beauty of the storm without turning the woman inside it into something fragile. The color, movement and layered surface carry all that charge around her, while she stays completely committed to her own line.
There’s risk here, but not recklessness. Confidence, but nothing performative.
