The Story
Treasure Hunters began with two turtles moving through a world loaded with things humans call precious.
The original became one of the most materially extravagant pieces I’ve created—layered with genuine diamond dust, opals, and four different precious-metal leafs. Light doesn’t just hit the surface; it moves through it.
And yet the turtles are completely unimpressed.
That contradiction became the point. We spend so much time deciding what has value, chasing it, collecting it, protecting it—and meanwhile these two just keep moving.
The Limited Edition carries the imagery and character of the original, with each canvas individually hand-embellished in my studio. The genuine diamond dust, opals, and precious metals were exclusive to the original artwork and are not reproduced in the prints.
