The Story
Lunar Drift came from the feeling of being pulled by something you can’t quite explain.
After a freedive encounter off Oʻahu, I kept thinking about the way the ocean moves you without asking permission—the moon pulling tides, current shifting direction, instinct taking over before logic catches up.
That became the tension inside this piece. The turtle feels suspended between control and surrender, drifting through soft movement while something unseen keeps drawing it forward.
I like that it doesn’t hand you the answer. It leaves room for whatever your own version of that pull might be.
