Puppy Love - Paper

This is a special piece to the artist. The models are her friend's Nika Kuznetsova (@nikainnature) and the feisty tiger shark named Kalihi. She painted this for her combination of love of surfing, tiger sharks, and to promote shark awareness and conservation. Instead of the negative news and misinformation, look here!!! This is a painting showing the deep affection that occurs between compassionate humans and these majestic animals. The bond that can occur when one opens themselves to it and them. Where nature and humanity collide to create a beautiful and soulful union. Sharks (especially tigers) are often referred to as puppies, due to their curious and sometimes playful nature. What more of a perfect name than “Puppy love” for this painting. (The name came to the artist as soon as she thought of the concept, before paint was even applied, which is so usual for her, so it was destiny for her to paint this. Her soul poured on this surfboard.) Do you believe? In yourself?
