The Story
Soulful Swell Serenade is about the split second when a surfer stops fighting the water and starts moving with it.
That’s the part I wanted—not domination, not performance. Timing.
The painting carries that push and pull through layered texture, glitter, shimmer pigments and metallic details that catch differently as the light moves across the surface.
There’s softness in the figure, but the water still has weight.
That balance is what surfing feels like to me. You get your moment because the ocean allows it, not because you won an argument.
