This was the pivotal piece of the artist's career. The breakthrough piece. All the challenges and tribulations she went through, and this piece just clicked for her and morphed her style and passion that it is today. As an artist and as a person, this was her growth piece, the transformation she went through. Like a butterfly shedding the past and moving to the future. This turtle took her love of the ocean, and her love of art and melded them together into this beautiful arti piece.
