The artist had a-lot of fun diving with this turtle in a channel in Tahiti known as a diving "drift spot". As the artist drifted along in the rapid current , she saw this turtle that seemed to embody the spirit of a turtle from a famous movie. He was weaving and spinning to the tune of the current. Almost psychedelic in nature, seeing this turtle whip by without ever lifting a fin and going along with the flow. Living life as it comes and not panicking. Some believe being adrift is being lost, but perhaps this turtle was trying to teach the artist you can be discovered while being adrift too. Enjoy the flow and see what comes. Mixed media, acrylic, spray paint, collage collected from around the world, dandelions, gold leaf, pigment powders, finished with oil and archival gloss varnish
